STATUS
• In January 2018, a medical cannabis pilot program launched. It
runs until 31st December 2025
• Doctors are guided to prescribe cannabis products to patients
who have failed to respond to traditional therapies
• The information and evidence collected during the trial will
form the basis of more permanent legislation
NEWS
• Since 2018, more than €217m has been invested in Denmark’s medical
cannabis companies
• Stenocare receives approval from Danish Medicines Agency to become
the exclusive supplier of cannabis oil to the Danish market
• Floral Growth acquires Franchise Global Health gaining access to the first
registered cannabis seed bank in Copenhagen
